These controls can be over written and mapped to popular software functions such as stop, play and record. To finish off the control section of the Masterkey 61 you get two jog style wheels for adjusting pitch bend and modulation.The back of the Masterkey 61 has a class compliant USB port for connecting the keyboard directly to a computer. Class compliant means the masterkey does not require a driver so you plug it in and start making music straight away. The MIDI keyboard powers directly from your computers USB port so no need for additional power supply.
