Endlessly fun and impressively inexpensive, the Pocket Operator series are proving an incredible hit around the world - and with its incredible success at NAMM 2017, the PO-32 is no exception.
What you get is a compact and relatively simple-looking drum synthesizer and sequencer with parameter locks and punch-in effects. But don't let its small and simple appearance deceive you - the PO-32 is the first pocket operator which allows the generation of unlimited sounds. In addition to the 16 preset sounds, you can use Sonic Charge's 'Microtonic' VST to craft your own unique sounds and transfer them wirelessly to PO-32 with the built-in microphone, or alternatively by using a cable. It makes use of real synthesizer engines with a step multiplier, built-in speaker, 3.5mm audio I/O and unique animated LCD.
You can quickly manipulate the sounds you trigger with the 'A' and 'B' rotary knobs, which control pitch and modulation as well as other parameters. You can also punch-in effects whenever you feel the need to while playing sequences or sounds. Everything from delays to bit crushers and filters will keep your sound bank fresh even after extensive use. The Pocket Operator also features a 16-step sequencer with 16 patterns for added versatility, allowing you to create loops and sequences on the fly.
It also has a removable lock tab for write protection of patterns, a reinforced hanger for extra durability and a folding stand for extra convenience. Useful combo reminders are featured on the backside of the unit.
