The Walrus Audio Vanguard is in fact the "other Phaser": 2 complete phaser units are connected in series, if you set the speed of the Phasers differently you obtain very unusual sounds.
Three Phasing steps are selectable, each effect knob can be remotely controlled by an expression pedal, the range of the substituted knob is also adjustable. The advanced control capabilities of Vanguard is an interesting effect device for sound wizards.
