These type of guitars have the classic 50s American style with our modern setup techniques. Designed back in 1950s and it's still completely fit for purpose today and loved by millions. The likes of Keith Richard and Rick Parfitt have made the Telecaster their trademark axe. The Telecaster has been used for all types of music from classic rock to folk to heavy metal.
The guitar bodies are made from a hard tone wood with some options including solid alder and solid swamp ash. The necks are a 1 piece maple with either maple or rosewood fingerboards. The electric configuration is the standard 2 single coil pickups with the selector switch making use of either the bridge or neck pickup or both together. The guitar pick-ups give a mellow sweet tone on the neck pick-up and a biting cutting tone from the bridge pick-up. There is an overall volume and tone control on the guitar.
These are great work horse guitars and they can take a lot of punishment. There is no tremolo messing around with the tuning and the simple hard wood construction means it will keep well in tune even when knocked around.
The bridge is the traditional string through ashtray type bridge and is fully adjustable to set the intonation and action. The neck can be fully adjusted with a two-way truss rod making the action really easy to set.
