It's more enjoyable for every pianist when the instrument is in tune. If you accept the challenge to learn this new skill/hobby, there are some really useful tips:
Mute out all the multiple strings on individual notes so you can tune the whole scale of the piano then go back and do the unison strings on each note
The hardest thing is to make sure you are on the correct string: Don't be on the wrong peg, it will fool you into tightening and breaking a string. If you don't hear the note change when you move the lever, even slightly, make sure your have the key on the correct peg
