This beater is made from skewers and held together with electrical coloured plastic banding which is heat shrinked. The brush beater makes a brush type sound on the skin like the sound of breaking waves on a sea shore. It is ideal if a player does not want to play loudly and is also very effective for jigs and reels. It is a must for every bodhrán player. Any bodhrán player worth his salt has one in stock. Measures approx. 24cm (9,5") and weighs 40g.
