Ventilator 2 Rotary Emulation Pedal

As far as Leslie simulators go, this thing is the best, or at least we haven't heard a better one.
So the benefits to a keyboard player are obvious, you spend a fortune on a great keyboard that has some awesome Hammond organ presets, but the internal Leslie effects are a bit twee?, get yourself a Ventilator 2 and you'll never look back....
But what about guitarists?
I hear many Guitar players saying, "Well what would I use it for, we don't do any songs that use Organ..." so let me just say this...
If you play in a 3 piece Blues outfit or any unit where the Rhythm guitar is exposed, just see what a difference the sound of a Leslie can make. It instantly brings a new dimension to your sound, even if you use it very subtly. Indeed I find it can change the parts you play, allowing a lot more creative playing (Try just holding a chord rather than playing lots of rhythm with your Picking hand....)
So how was the Ventilator born?
You know the deal: That enormous rig - a Hammond® with one or maybe even two Leslies® - taking up so much floor space in your crib delivers to-die-for tone. You're riffing away, enraptured, when a depressing realization bursts your bubble: You'd give so much to be able to play with precisely this sound on stage. But the colossal weight of this antiquated musical furniture is an insurmountable obstacle for the gigging musician. And although your digital Hammond clone hits the sweet spot, the weak, anemic Leslie effect is a turn-off.
Guido Kirsch, the man and mind behind VENTILATOR, was similarly frustrated with this situation. So he took just about every analog, digital, and mechanical rotary effect on the market for a test drive, which only served to aggravate rather than alleviate his dissatisfaction. He even combined several devices, tweaked and fine-tuned parameters, and experimented with pre and post effect equalizers to finally conjure a sound that wasn't half-bad
