The IRT60H is a thoroughly modern looking valve head capable of some full on metal tones but it also offers much more than many other metal orientated amps on the market. Loaded with a pair of premium hand selected TAD 6L6 loaded valves it generates 60 watts RMS of hot tone. Its feature packed pre amp is laid out logically and features 3 distinct channels - Clean, Rhythm and Lead. Each channel features passive 3 band EQ with push pull options for Deep, mid shift and treble shift which allows you to dial in the eXact tone you are after. The master section features an overall Dynamics control which allows you to vary the interaction of the amplifier and the drivers, depending on the volume you are playing at, an overall Tone control, a Laney custom designed Digital Reverb plus a really useful WATTS feature which allows you to dial the output of the amplifier right back to a whisper without destroying your tone. This is a great feature and really useful for recording in your home studio or playing late into the night. One of the coolest features of the IRT60H happens right at the front end of the pre amp section. The IRT60H features a switchable PRE-BOOST facility which functions just like kicking in your favourite boost pedal in front of your amp. Which simple hits the first pre amp tube a little harder giving you more dynamics and feel to your playing. The rear panel of the unit features everything you need to connect your outboard gear, an variable level FX loop, a variety of eXtension speaker socket and the supplied FS4-IRT footswitch connection socket. Youll also find the switch that gives you the ability to change the output tubes from the factory fitted 6L6 valves to EL34s should you wish to.
