Single string / Viola A1 - Steel/Titanium wound Medium Tension (18.5 PM) Long Scale 16"- 16,5" Scale length: 380 mm (15") Kaplan stands for quality, tradition and constancy. Kaplan Viola strings offer the beautiful, rich tonal palette and the superb bowing response characteristic of the Kaplan line. This new Kaplan Viola A-string offers a warmer, more typical viola sound than the Kaplan Solutions A-string. Harmonizes very well with warm sounding lower strings and allows greater projection in the highs. The string is sized to fit long-scale viola (body length 16-16 1/2 inches), with a playing length of 15 inches (ca. 380mm).
